PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 4, 2001 — 7HO6988 J-Roc SHOWTIME-RED-ET, bred by J-Roc Holsteins, Wendell, Idaho, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ SUPER SAMPLER™ program. Based on his outstanding pedigree, SHOWTIME-RED is one of 48 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2001. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

SHOWTIME-RED is a son of La-Poe-NEYER BS Mario-ET from Golden-Oaks M Sabrina-ET. Scored Very Good (85) with an Excellent udder, she produced 31,100 pounds of milk, 1,180 pounds of fat and 1,025 pounds of protein in 365 days at 1 year, 11 months of age. She is currently working on another that will exceed 34,000 pounds of milk. The second dam, S-F-L Enhancer Scarlette-Red, a Gold Medal Dam (GMD) and Dam of Merit (DOM), is scored Very Good (89). Her best records stands at 38,310 pounds of milk, 1,615 pounds of fat and 1,244 pounds of protein.
