Brown Swiss Young Sire Bred in Wisconsin to Enter A.I.


PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 4, 2001 — 7BS763 Siegerts Sun JEOPARDY ET, a Brown Swiss young sire bred by Siegerts Swiss Farm and Sunshine Genetics Inc., Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, JEOPARDY is one of eight Brown Swiss bulls to enter the program in 2001. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Brown Swiss breeders.

JEOPARDY is a son of P.F. B. Emory PLAYBOY ET. His dam, Siegerts Denmark Jolly, is scored Excellent (91) and produced 27,810 pounds of milk, 1,230 pounds of fat and 1,031 pounds of protein in 365 days as a 3-year-old. The second dam in JEOPARDY’s pedigree is Schmidt’s Hill Justine. Scored Excellent (91), this Elite cow’s best record stands at 26,520 pounds of milk, 1,115 pounds of fat and 1,060 pounds of protein.
