PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 5, 2001 — 7GU386 Penny Lane Valor PRESTIGE-ET, bred by the Penny Lane Syndicate, Baltimore, Ohio, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, PRESTIGE is one of seven Guernsey bulls to enter the program in 2001. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Guernsey breeders.

PRESTIGE is sired by Tamaracks Perfectos VALOR. His dam is one of the top CPI cows of the Guernsey breed, Bla Arl Pennys Magic Preppy-ET. Scored Very Good (87), she has two records exceeding 31,000 pounds of milk, 1,250 pounds of fat and 1,000 pounds of protein. In just four lactations, this Gold Star Dam has produced more than 112,000 pounds of milk. PRESTIGE’s maternal sister, by 7GU322 Trotacre Mercury LORAL, is scored Very Good (87) and is milking more than 100 pounds per day as a 2-year-old. Da Bren Rons Penny is the second dam in PRESTIGE’s pedigree. She is scored Excellent (91) and her best record is 4-1 365d 27,340M 4.4% 1,197F 3.3% 928P.
