PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 5, 2001 — 7GU385 Pine Ridge SUPER LUX-ET, bred by Chris Skaar and Sons, Hayward, Minn., and acquired from the Super Lux Syndicate, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ SUPER SAMPLER™ program. Based on his outstanding pedigree, SUPER LUX is one of seven Guernsey bulls to enter the program in 2001. With this designation, their semen is available to all Guernsey breeders.

SUPER LUX, sired by 7GU339 Trotacre Jay Mr LUXURY, comes from a super cow family for components. His dam, Pine Ridge Perfecto Luxury-ET, has three records that average 5.0 percent for fat and 3.5 percent for protein. She is scored Excellent (90) and is a Gold Star Dam (GSD) with her best record 4-2 365d 27,050M 5.1% 1,380F 3.6% 976P. The second dam in SUPER LUX’s pedigree is Pine Ridge Pender Leigh, an Excellent (90) daughter of 7GU179 Kellogg E Choice PENDER. Her best record stands at 2-10 365d 22,190M 5.2% 1,156F 3.7% 812P.
