PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 5, 2001 — 7GU381 Lang Haven Luxury NEON, a Guernsey young sire bred by Don and Kathy Langrehr, West Salem, Wis., and acquired from the Neon Syndicate, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ SUPER SAMPLER™ program. Based on his outstanding pedigree, NEON is one of seven Guernsey bulls to enter the program in 2001. With this designation, his semen is available to all Guernsey breeders.

NEON, sired by 7GU339 Trotacre Jay Mr LUXURY, is the first son Lang Haven Fortress Natalie to be sampled. Scored Excellent (91), she has produced two records exceeding 21,000 pounds of milk and 1,000 pounds of fat. She also has been successfully shown in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The second dam in NEON’s pedigree is Lang Haven Perfecto Nicole. This Gold Star Dam (GSD) is scored Excellent (90) and has three production records with more than 20,000 pounds of milk.
