Ohio Student Named Intern
at Leading U.S. A.I. Organization



PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Jan. 13, 2004 — Stacey Shipley, Newark, Ohio, has been selected as the dairy-sire products and services school-year intern for Select Sires, Plain City, Ohio. In this role she will assist with various marketing projects within the dairy-sire products line and customer service department. She will be based in the Select federation’s headquarters office in Plain City through June.

Shipley is a sophomore at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in animal science. She is a member of the Buckeye Dairy Club, and is currently serving as a member of the sale committee. An active 4-H member, she was a part of the 2002 Ohio 4-H dairy judging team, and competed in the national contest in Madison, Wis. She was also the first runner-up in the 2002 National Jersey Queen contest.

Shipley was raised on a 240-head Holstein and Jersey dairy and plans to return home after earning her degree.

Based in Plain City, Ohio, Select Sires, Inc. is a federation of 10 farmer-owned and -controlled cooperatives.
