PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Jan. 20, 2004 — 7HO7952 Windsor-Manor ZEPHYR-ET* TV bred by Jason and Donna Myers, New Windsor, Md., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, ZEPHYR is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

ZEPHYR is sired by 7HO5708 Fustead Emory BLITZ-ET. Windsor-Manor Rud Zip, ZEPHYR’s dam, is scored Excellent (92) and is Excellent in all linear categories. Zip produced 2-9 365d 31,020M 4.3% 1,330F 3.4% 1,046P. ZEPHYR’s grandam, Windsor-Manor Jolt Zippy, is scored Excellent (90-2E) and produced 3-9 365d 32,060M 3.9% 1,240F 3.0% 962P from an Excellent mammary system.
