PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Jan. 20, 2004 — 7HO7855 Lutz-Brookview FARLEY-ET*TV, bred by Robert Lutz, Fairfield, Ky., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, FARLEY is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

FARLEY is sired by 7HO5687 Sandy-Valley FORBIDDEN-ET. Lutz-Brookview Fawn-ET, FARLEY’s dam, is scored Excellent (90-EX-MS) and is a Dam of Merit. Fawn produced 4-5 365d 33,140M 4.4% 1,452F 3.3% 1,090P. FARLEY’s grandam, Lutz-Brookview Faith, is classified Excellent (90-EX-MS) and is both a Gold Medal Dam and a Dam of Merit. Faith produced 3-9 365d 30,750M 4.0% 1,228F 3.2% 970P. The next two dams in FARLEY’s pedigree are both Excellent with over 30,000 pounds of milk and 1,200 pounds of fat.
