Red Holstein Sire From Illinois to Enter A.I.

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, March 9, 2004 — 7HO7852 Prosite Prdx RED TOP-RED-ET*TV, bred by Dale Probst, Wheeler, Ill., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, RED TOP-RED is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

RED TOP-RED is sired by Starstruck J PARADOX-RED-ET. His dam, Prosite Apostle Mira-Red-ET, Very Good (88), produced 4-0 365d 29,030M 3.5% 1,011F 2.8% 824P. Mira has two full sisters, Prosite Apostle Megan-ET, Very Good (88-VG-MS) and Prosite Apostle Marble-Red-ET, Very Good (85-VG-MS). Both Megan and Marble produced more than 25,000 pounds of milk and at least 3.5% fat. Prosite Momentum Maid-ET, Very Good (86-DOM) is RED TOP-RED’s grandam. Maid produced 4-1 365d 33,360M 3.6% 1,193F 3.0% 1,005P. The third dam, Prosite Tesk Maiden is scored Very Good (88-VG-MS) and produced 6-8 365d 32,860 4.0% 1,301F 3.0% 994P.
