PLAIN CITY, Ohio, March 9, 2004 — 7AY79 Palmyra Jerry’s CANNON, bred by Palmyra Farm Cattle Partnership, Hagerstown, Md., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Ayrshire breeders.

CANNON is a son of Kildare JERRY-ET. His dam, Palmyra Recruiter’s Charming, is scored Very Good (87) and produced 1-11 318d 23,420M 3.7% 861F 3.1% 716P. Palmyra L.H. Charm, CANNON’s grandam, is scored Excellent (91). Charm produced 5-10 344d 30,080M 3.4% 1,016F 3.0% 893P this was her second lactation producing over 1,000 pounds of fat. Her lifetime production record is 114,780M 3.7% 4,202F 3.2% 3,691P. The third dam, Palmyra Sailor Charm, is scored Very Good (88).
