PLAIN CITY, Ohio, April 21, 2004 — 7HO8012 O-Bee JABEZ-ET*TV, bred by Gary, Gaylon and Steve Obert, Dakota, Ill., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, JABEZ is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

JABEZ is sired by Stouder MORTY-ET. Meier-Meadows El Jezebel-ET, his dam, is scored Excellent (92-EX-MS) and is a Gold Medal Dam and Dam of Merit. Jezebel produced 4-2 365d 35,082M 4.4% 1,539F 3.3% 1,167P. JABEZ has two maternal brothers in Select’s lineup — No. 1 TPI™ sire, 7HO6417 O-Bee MANfred Justice-ET*TV and top-production sire 7HO6511 O-Bee Winchester JASON*TV. 7HO7875 O-Bee JUSTUS-ET*TV is also a maternal brother to JABEZ and was recently released as a Super Sampler from Select Sires. JABEZ’s grandam, Meier-Meadows Melwood Jacki, is scored Very Good (87-DOM). She produced 2-11 365d 27,860M 3.7% 1,031F 2.9% 815P.
