PLAIN CITY, Ohio, April 21, 2004 — 7HO7990 Mr DB ETHAN-ET*TV, bred by Donald Rottinghaus and Jeffrey Woods, Stilwell, Kan., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, ETHAN is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

ETHAN is sired by 7HO5375 Mara-Thon BW MARSHALL-ET. Ever-Green-View Elsa-ET, ETHAN’s dam, is scored Very Good (89). Elsa produced 2-6 3X 365d 46,877M 4.4% 2,067F 3.3% 1,539P. Ever-Green-View Elegant-ET is a maternal sister to Elsa. She produced 1-11 3X 365d 40,480M 4.3 % 1,739F 3.5% 1,435P and is scored Very Good (87-EX-MS). ETHAN’s grandam, Ever-Green-View Elsie-ET, is classified Excellent (92-2E) and is both a Gold Medal Dam and a Dam of Merit.
