PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 15, 2004 — 7HO8055 Sure-View AMERICA-RED-ET*TV, bred by Douglas Schmitt, Hilbert, Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, AMERICA-RED is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

AMERICA-RED is sired by Starstruck J PARADOX-RED-ET. His dam, Sure-View Rudlf Aspirin-ET, produced 1-10 365d 32,610M 3.9% 1,269F 3.3% 1,077P. Classified Very Good (86), Aspirin is sired by Startmore RUDOLPH-ET and has a Very Good (87) daughter by 7HO5375 Mara-Thon BWMARSHALL-ET*TV, who is projected over 38,000 pounds of milk as a 2-year-old. Sure-View Jubilant Ava, AMERICA-RED’s grandam, is scored Very Good (87-EX-MS-GMD-DOM). Ava produced 2-00 365d 30,400M 4.2% 1,282F 3.5% 1,057P.
