Cook Jr., Hadley, Mass., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, OUTFRONT is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

OUTFRONT is sired by Comestar OUTSIDE-ET. Cook-Farm Srud Firey-ET, OUTFRONT’s dam, is scored Excellent (93-EX-MS) and produced 3-09 365d 35,870M 3.4% 1,226F 3.2% 1,144P. Firey has two maternal sisters both of which produced over 30,000 pounds of milk, 1,200 pounds of fat and 940 pounds of protein. One sister is scored Excellent (91-2E) and the other is Very Good (88) with an Excellent udder. OUTFRONT’s grandam, Cook-Farm BKS Fire 1-ET, is an Excellent (93-3E-GMD-DOM) daughter of 7HO1897 To-Mar BLACKSTAR-ET*TV. She has three records over 34,000 pounds of milk with a best record of 3-6 365 42,090M 4.0% 1,665F 3.2% 1,340P.
