Ohio State Student Named Intern
at Leading A.I. Organization

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 29, 2004 — Kenny Wells, Cumberland, Ohio, has been selected as the summer beef-marketing intern for Select Sires, Plain City, Ohio. In this role he will assist with the preparation of advertisements and brochures, help photograph bulls and bull progeny and work on other beef-marketing projects. He will be based in the Select federation’s headquarters office in Plain City.

Wells is a senior at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in animal science and will graduate this fall. He is an active member of Alpha Gamma Sigma, Saddle and Sirloin, and the livestock and meat judging teams. Wells is the son of Frank and Debbie Wells, who live on a small farm where they raise swine.

Based in Plain City, Ohio Select Sires Inc. is a federation of 10-farmer-owned and -controlled cooperatives. It provides highly fertile semen as well as excellence in service and programs to achieve its basic objective of supplying livestock breeders with America’s best genetics at a reasonable price.
