PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 13, 2004 — 7HO8098 Mr Golden-Oaks GINTER-ET*TV bred by Golden Oaks and Nick Raggi, Wauconda, Ill., has been chosen to enter Select Sires' Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, GINTER is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

GINTER's sire is Stouder MORTY-ET. His dam, Brigeen BWM Gina-ET, is scored Very Good (87) and produced 2-03 278d 24,592M 3.5% 859F 3.3% 819P INC. Gina has three maternal sisters scored Very Good or Excellent. One 7HO4638 Ricecrest Tesk TERRY*TV sister is Excellent (90) with more than 39,000 pounds of milk and 4.2 percent fat as a 3-year-old. GINTER's grandam is Lylehaven Rudolph Gina-ET who scored Very Good (89-GMD-DOM) and produced 2-03 305d 35,180M 3.9% 1,388F 3.0% 1,057P which placed her first in Maine for milk and protein.
