PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 13, 2004 — 7HO8232 Kerndtway HOWLER-ET*TV, bred by Mark W. Kerndt, Waukon, Iowa, has been chosen to enter Select Sires' Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, HOWLER is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

HOWLER is sired by Stouder MORTY-ET. His dam, Henkeseen BWM Heidi-ET, is scored Very Good (87) and received an Excellent score in dairy character. She produced 2-02 305d 30,380M 4.0% 1,212F 3.5% 1,075P, which placed her second in Ohio for protein. HOWLER's grandam, Henkeseen Rud Heidi-ET, produced 3-11 365d 37,470M 4.3% 1,627F 3.4% 1,275P and scored Excellent (90-DOM).
