PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Sept. 22, 2004 — 7BS782 Hilltop Acres E GENERAL, bred by Dennis and Barb Mashek, Calmar, Iowa, has been chosen to enter Select Sires' Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Brown Swiss breeders.

His dam, Hilltop Acres Dalton Gossip, is scored Very Good (88) and produced 2-08 3x 327d 30,150M 4.3% 1,292F 3.6% 1,083P. GENERAL's grandam, Hilltop Acres Emory Gloria, produced 5-3 353d 27,520M 5.2% 1,431F 3.8% 1,049P and is classified Very Good (87). The third dam, Hilltop Acres Telstar Gretchen, produced more than 18,000 pounds of milk with a 4.3 percent fat test.
