PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 13, 2004 — 7HO8340 Hidden-View BLUEJAY-ET*TV, bred by Teresa A. Kissling, Robesonia, Pa., has been chosen to enter Select Sires' Program for Genetic Advancement™, (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, BLUEJAY is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

BLUEJAY is sired by Comestar OUTSIDE-ET. Hidden-View Beth-ET is his dam and she is scored Very Good (88-EX-MS). Beth produced 2-0 365d 34,250M 3.8% 1,288F 3.0% 1,042P. Hidden-View Emory Beauty-ET, BLUEJAY's grandam, is scored Excellent (90-EX-MS) and is a Gold Medal Dam as well as a Dam of Merit. She produced 6-8 365d 50,210M 3.3% 1,659F 3.0% 1,507P. This was her second lactation producing over 45,000 pounds of milk. Beauty made over 170,000 pounds of milk and over 6,000 pounds of fat in her lifetime.
