PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 21, 2006 — 7HO8890 Morningview Tnic ARTIST-ET, bred by Tim Schmitt, Epworth, Iowa, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, ARTIST is one of 315 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, ARTIST semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

ARTIST is sired by Hartline Titanic-ET and his dam is Leggo Morningview Brass Ali. Ali scored Very Good (87) during her first lactation while making a 2-year-old record of 2-1 305d 29,100M 3.9% 1,125F 2.9% 839P. The grandam is Morningview Mtoto April scored Very Good (89-EX-MS) and she produced 40,040 pounds of milk as a 2-year-old.
