Altann’s Son to Enter Select Sires’
Showcase Selections Program




PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 21, 2006 — 7GU417 Sniders Tiller ALTANIC, bred by Aaron Gable, New Enterprise, Pa. has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, ALTANIC will enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™ and Showcase Selections™ sire. With this designation, ALTANIC semen is now available to all Guernsey breeders.

ALTANIC is sired by 7GU360 Trotacre Loral TILLER-ET. His dam is the three-time grand champion Cedar Fringed Altann (EX-95-EX-93-MS-GSD). Altann has produced 148,150 pounds of milk lifetime with a best record at 6-4 365d 31,540M 4.8% 1,486F 3.0% 941P. She ranks in the Top-150 of the breed for CPI and has two other sons awaiting proofs at Select Sires. A maternal sister to ALTANIC sold for $20,000 as the pick of the Snider Homestead herd in 2004. Altann has three Excellent and eight Very Good daughters appraised along with three All-American nominated produce of dam pairs.
