PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 5, 2006 — 7HO8894 Jerland DAVINCI-ET, bred by Lawrence F. Jerome, Barron, Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, DAVINCI is one of 315 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, DAVINCI semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

DAVINCI is sired by 7HO6417 O-Bee MANfred Justice-ET. His dam, Jerland-Beck RU Dixianna-ET (EX-91-EX-MS) produced a top record of 3-11 3x 365d 45,480M 4.0% 1,797F 3.1% 1392P. The grandam, Jerland Jed Dixie-ET is Excellent (93-3E-EX-MS-GMD-DOM) with a top record of 4-1 3x 365d 42,290M 3.8% 1,616F 3.0% 1,255P. DAVINCI is the only O MAN son in the world from an eighth generation Excellent classified cow with over 40,000 pounds of milk.
