PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 11, 2006 — 7JE822 Sunset Canyon DK AMOS-ET, bred by Eric Silva, Beaver, Ore., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, AMOS is one of 35 Jersey bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, AMOS semen is now available to all Jersey breeders.

AMOS is sired by Greenwood Berretta Dunkirk-ET. His dam, Sunset Canyon LVG A AMITY-ET, is Excellent (91) with 31,000M 1,995F 1,200P. Her maternal sister Sunset Canyon Berretta Anthem (E-95), is the dam of Showcase Selections™ sire 7JE702 Sunset Canyon Anth ILLUSION-ET. The grandam is Sunset Canyon Brook Amity-ET (E-90) with 32,000M 1,600F 1,100P and a daughter of Goodnow Midnight Blue (E-93).
