PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 11, 2006 — 7JE821 Maack Dairy SPECTACULAR-ET, bred by Maack Dairy, Cloverdale, Ore., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, SPECTACULAR is one of 35 Jersey bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, SPECTACULAR semen is now available to all Jersey breeders.

SPECTACULAR is sired by ISDK Q Impuls. His dam, Sunset Canyon Lv Sequoia I-ET (VG-87), produced 1-8 305d 20,610M 6.9% 1,426F 3.9% 812P. The grandam is Sunset Canyon Daniel Sequoia-ET (VG-86). She made over 31,000 pounds of milk with 5.3% fat and 3.8% protein. SPECTACULAR has an incredibly low Expected Future Inbreeding (EFI) of 2.8%.
