PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 20, 2006 — 7HO8864 Springway Talent CORONA-ET*RC, bred by William Burkhart Jr., Magnolia, Ohio, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, CORONA is one of 315 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, CORONA semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

CORONA is sired by Ladino Park Talent-IMP-ET. His dam, Whittier-Farms Christina-ET, is scored Very Good (87) and produced 2-3 365d 38,810M 4.7% 1,828F 3.3% 1,270P. The grandam, Whittier-Farms Emery Cin-ET has a lifetime record of 1,480d 134,380M 3.7% 4,921F 3.3% 4,401P, with a top record of 36,040 pounds of milk.
