PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 20, 2006 — 7HO8862 Paradise-R R SUMMIT-ET, bred by Paradise Valley Farm Inc., Louisville, Ohio, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, SUMMIT is one of 315 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, SUMMIT semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

SUMMIT is sired by 7HO6302 Bo-Irish RJ Lead READY-ET. His dam is a 7HO5375 Mara-Thon BW MARSHALL-ET daughter, Paradise-R BWM Shanna 3129. She is scored Very Good (87) and produced a record of 1-11 3x 365d 33,100M 3.4% 1,137F 3.1% 1,042P. The grandam is a daughter of the high Productive Life sire, Pen-Col Duster-ET and made over 30,000 and 40,000 pounds of milk in her first two lactations.
