Pala Grandson to Enter A.I. at Select Sires

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2006 — 7HO9039 Windy-Knoll-View PROOF-ET, bred by James and Nina Burdette, Mercersburg, Pa., has been identified as a Super Sampler™ at Select Sires. Because of his elite, show-winning pedigree, PROOF has also been chosen as a Showcase Selections™ sire. With these designations, PROOF semen is now available to all Holstein breeders.

PROOF hails from the famous Pala family, renowned for 45 All-American or junior All-American nominations. This early Regancrest Dundee-ET son is the first son of Windy-Knoll-View Promis-ET (EX-95-2E-EX-MS-DOM) available at Select Sires. Promis was named reserve All-American 5-year-old in 2003 and has an incredible record of 4-8 365d 44,120M 3.7% 1,633F 3.2% 1,401P. The grandam is Windy-Knoll-View Ultimate Pala (EX-94-3E-EX-MS-DOM). PROOF has the potential to sire the fancy ones that can compete at the highest levels.
