PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2006 — 7GU416 Yellow Creek Lewis CONRAD, bred by Truman Weaver, Goshen, Ind., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, CONRAD will enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, CONRAD semen is now available to all Guernsey breeders.

CONRAD is sired by 7GU366 Trotacre Enhancer LEWIS-ET. His dam, a 7GU330 Jensgold Proking ROYAL OAK daughter, Yellow Creek Ro Cari, is Excellent (90) and produced 3-6 365d 27,480M 4.7% 1,303F 3.3% 918P. CONRAD’s maternal line offers five generations of Very Good (88) or higher including four Excellents with high components. Look for CONRAD to sire cows that last with youthful udders that produce high volumes of high-solids milk.
