PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2006 — 7BS801 Sun-Made KB BART ET, bred by Sunshine Genetics, Whitewater, Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, BART will enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, BART semen is available to all Brown Swiss breeders.

BART is a rare son of Harts Ensign Energy ET. His dam, Top Acres Mona Buffy ET "2E91 2E92MS" CERT, produced 4-4 365d 32,800M 4.4% 1,433F 3.3% 1,074P, and was nominated All American as a 3-year-old and as a 4-year-old. His grandam, Top Acres PR Blossom, "2E91 2E91MS" CERT SBC, produced 4-7 365d 33,360d 4.9% 1,643F 3.7% 1,233 and earned the Superior Brood Cow designation. His third dam, scored "2E92" CERT, also received the Superior Brood Cow designation and produced 3-10 365d 33,300 4.3% 1,420F 3.5% 1,153P.
