PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2006 — 7MS345 Halpin’s Morning AFTER-ET, bred by Mike Halpin, Kempton, Ill., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, AFTER will enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, AFTER semen is available to all Milking Shorthorn breeders.

AFTER’s grandam is the famous Horizon-Tudor Margarita-Exp-ET (EX-94-3E-EX-MS). Margarita has produced over 100,000M lifetime with a top record of 5-7 365d 28,980M 4.9% 1,420F 3.2% 926P. AFTER is sired by Hilltop Academy, known for stylish, great-uddered cows that excel in the show-ring. His dam, H.C.T.H. Rebel Martini (EX-90-EX-MS) is one of Margarita’s finest daughters. Backed by three generations of Excellent dams, AFTER is a roan specialist with a lifetime of show and production genetics behind him.
