PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2006 — 7GU423 Mar Ral Tiller MISSION, bred by Ralph Turley and Verl Weaver, Orient, Ohio, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, MISSION will enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™ and as a Showcase Selections™ sire. With these designations, MISSION semen is now available to all Guernsey breeders.

MISSION is sired by 7GU360 Trotacre Loral TILLER-ET. His dam, Mar Ral Royal Martha-ET (EX-93), produced 4-0 365d 28,060M 4.1% 1,153F 3.3% 932P. She was the honorable mention All-American senior 3-year-old in 2004 and the reserve All-American 4-year-old in 2005. The grandam, Raemelton Prime Majestic (EX-94), produced 7-9 365d 26,670 3.8% 1010F 3.4% 920P. She was also the National Guernsey Gold Futurity winner as a 3-year-old. MISSION has five consecutive generations of Excellent dams, crossed with three of the highest PTA Type sires of the breed. With gender SELECTed™ semen available, expect MISSION to sire fancy heifers that develop into show-winning cows.
