to Enter A.I. at Select Sires




PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2006 — 7JE852 Campbells Run Sultan TUB-ET, bred by Steven Meyers, Saint Thomas, Pa., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, TUB is one of 35 Jersey bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, TUB semen is now available to all Jersey breeders.

TUB is sired by SHF Centurion Sultan, the high-type 7JE329 Sooner CENTURION-ET son. His dam, WF Bomber Tinsel (E-91%), produced an outstanding record of 3-9 305d 27,750M 5.1% 1,417F 3.8% 1,045P. The grandam, Jo Tassel, is scored Excellent (94%) with over 21,000 pounds of milk and 4.2% fat. TUB is a unique sire combination of Sultan and WF Brook Bomber and is expected to produce balanced cows that combine milk and components while keeping inbreeding coefficients low.
