PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2006 — 7HO8927 Ladys-Manor Am CANDID-ET, bred by Jarod Robert Smith, Monkton, Md., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, CANDID is one of 315 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, CANDID semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

CANDID is sired by 7HO6753 CANYON-Breeze Storm Atom-ET and his dam is one of 7HO5157 Regancrest Elton DURHAM-ET*CV’s best daughters, Ladys-Manor Durham Am-ET (EX-91-2E-EX-MS). She made a 3-year-old record of 365d 40,290M 4.5% 1,808F 3.1% 1,250P. CANDID is one of only a handful of CANYON sons that will be sampled through A.I., making him a unique genetic offering.
