PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2006 — 7HO8977 Da-So-Burn DOLMAN, bred by Darin and Sonya Burnikel, Cresco, Iowa, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, DOLMAN is one of 315 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, DOLMAN semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

DOLMAN is sired by 7HO6417 O-Bee MANfred Justice-ET and his dam is a terrific 7HO5708 Fustead Emory BLITZ-ET daughter, Henkes-Brook Dottie-Jo-ET (VG-88). She finished a strong 2-year-old record with more than 36,000 pounds of milk with 4.2% butterfat. The grandam is an Excellent (91-GMD-DOM) 7HO4637 Ladys-Manor WINCHESTER-ET daughter. Descending from the great Dellia family, expect DOLMAN to sire above average strength and open-ribbed cows with strong feet and legs.
