Ohio Bull Enters A.I. at Select Sires

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Feb. 8, 2007 — 7HO9057 Paradise-R RAMJET-ET, bred by Paradise Valley Farms Inc., Louisville, Ohio, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, RAMJET is one of 315 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, RAMJET semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

RAMJET is sired by Ramos and is the son of one of 7HO5375 Mara-Thon BW MARSHALL-ET’s finest daughters, Paradise-R BWM Macy 3142-ET. Macy is scored Very Good (88) as a 2-year-old, and produced a record of 1-11 3x 365d 38,860M 3.0% 1,168F 2.8 % 1,082P. She also has the potential to be the fifth generation Excellent dam. The grandam, Paradise-R BS Sage 1423-ET (EX-90-EX-MS-GMD-DOM), produced 6-1 3x 357d 41,300M 3.0% 1,251F 2.6% 1,059. Expect RAMJET to deliver longevity and great milk production.
