PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Feb. 8, 2007 — 7HO9140 Windy-Knoll-View POINT-ET, bred by James and Nina Burdette, Mercersburg, Pa., has been identified as a Super Sampler™ at Select Sires. Because of his elite, show-winning pedigree, POINT has also been chosen as a Showcase Selections™ sire. With these designations, POINT semen is now available to all Holstein breeders.

POINT is sired by Regancrest-MR Drham SAM-ET and is from the famous Pala family at Windy-Knoll farm. His dam, Windy-Knoll-View Pledge-ET (EX-92-EX-MS), produced a record of 2-1 365d 30,710M 4.2% 1,277F 3.1% 966P. She was also nominated All-American 4-year-old in 2006. POINT’s grandam, Windy-Knoll-View Promis-ET (EX-95-2E-EX-MS-DOM), produced a record of 4-8 365d 44,120M 3.7% 1,633F 3.2% 1,401P. The third dam is Windy-Knoll-View Ultimate Pala (EX-94-EX-MS-DOM), the breed-leader with 17 Excellent daughters. POINT has all the makings of a high type bull that will sire fancy calves that develop into high-scoring cows.
