PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Feb. 8, 2007 — 7HO8912 Eskdale Dun DEEDLE-ET, bred by Eskdale Center, Eskdale, Utah, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, DEEDLE is one of 315 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2006. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, DEEDLE semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

DEEDLE is sired by Regancrest Dundee-ET and his dam is the 7HO5375 Mara-Thon BW MARSHALL-ET daughter, Henkeseen BWM Margo (VG-87). She finished a strong 2-year-old record with more than 34,000 pounds of milk. Margo is from the famous Henkeseen M Hillary (EX-94) family. DEEDLE’s grandam, Henkeseen Mandy-ET is Very Good (89-EX-MS) and produced 5-3 365d 37,090M 3.5% 1,296F 3.0% 1,097P. DEEDLE is expected to sire above average strength and cows made with great durability.
