PLAIN CITY, Ohio, May 10, 2007 — 7HO9167 Henkeseen RIPPEN-RED-ET, bred by Trent Henkes, Luana, Iowa, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, RIPPEN-RED is one of 330 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2007. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, RIPPEN-RED semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

RIPPEN-RED is sired by Ladino Park Talent-Imp-ET. His dam, Henkseen Rubens Robin-ET (EX-90-EX-MS), completes four Excellent generations with strong components. He boasts elite Parent Averages for both Type (+2.38) and Udder Composite (+2.46) and his full-sister has been nominated twice for Junior All-American honors.
