Red September Storm Son Enters A.I. at Select Sires

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, May 10, 2007 — 7HO9188 Ever-Green-View LEAD-RED-ET, bred by Thomas Kestell, Waldo, Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, LEAD-RED is one of 330 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2007. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, LEAD-RED semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

LEAD-RED is sired by Pursuit September Storm-ET and has a pedigree that combines high-type with exceptional components and milk production. His dam, Ms Louisiana-Red-ET (VG-86) is sired by 7HO6682 B-Hiddenhills Mar MARMAX-ET and produced more than 34,000 pounds of milk as a junior 2-year-old. With the successful sire stack of MARMAX x September Storm, LEAD-RED should add strength and width and should be a complementary mating on STBVQ Rubens bloodlines.
