JORDAN-RED Son Enters Super Sampler Program at Select Sires

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, May 10, 2007 — 7HO9150 Mill-Stone-Acres DAN-RED-ET, bred by Mill-Stone Acres, Wooster, Ohio, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, DAN-RED is one of 330 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2007. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, DAN-RED semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

DAN-RED is sired by 6HO817 Ja-Bob JORDAN-RED-ET and his dam is Mill-Stone-Acres Strm Cloud. Cloud is scored Excellent (91-EX-MS) and produced more than 67,000 pounds of milk in her first two lactations. DAN-RED’s maternal sister, Mill-Stone-Acres Lau Laura (EX-90-EX-MS) made more than 30,000 pounds of milk as a 3-year-old. Look for DAN-RED to produce the same customer satisfaction as his sire.
