ADVENT-RED Son Enters A.I. at Select Sires



PLAIN CITY, Ohio, May 10, 2007 — 7HO9272 Duchess Advnt DESIGN-RED-ET, bred by Duchess Partners, Poy Sippi, Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, DESIGN-RED is one of 330 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2007. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, DESIGN-RED semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

DESIGN-RED is sired by 7HO7872 KHW Kite ADVENT-RED-ET, who is now scored Excellent (94). DEISGN-RED’s dam is Opsal Wilstar R Duchess-ET (VG-88-EX-MS), who produced 3-10 365d 35,560 3.6% 1,290F 3.0% 1,052P. DESIGN-RED’s second dam is Miss Wilstar Lindy Dessy-ET (EX-91-3E-GMD-DOM), who produced 6-9 365d 42,990M 3.9% 1,691F 3.0% 1,281P. DESIGN-RED’s third dam is a Very Good (86) Melwood daughter out of Snow-N Denises Dellia (EX-95-2E-GMD-DOM).
