Veronica’s Only Furor Son Enters A.I. at Select Sires

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 11, 2007 — 7JE981 Arethusa Furor VERTIGO-ET, bred by Arethusa Farm, Litchfield, Conn., has been identified as a Super Sampler™ at Select Sires. Because of his elite, show-winning pedigree, VERTIGO has also been chosen as a Showcase Selections™ sire. With these designations, VERTIGO semen is now available to all Jersey breeders.

VERTIGO’s dam is the living legend, Huronia Centurion Veronica 20J (E-95%). In the history of World Dairy Expo, the only two Jerseys to win the supreme champion banner, Veronica and Waymar Patrick Nadine, combine to form VERTIGO’s foundation. VERTIGO is the only Piedmont Nadine Furor son of Veronica. Two of his full sisters were nominated All-American in 2006 and another was named junior champion at the New York Spring Show as a winter yearling. He also has three 2-year-old sisters classified Excellent and five Very Good.
