PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 26, 2007 — Annie Specht, Dover, Ohio, has been selected as the summer marketing communications intern for Select Sires Inc. While at Select Sires, Specht will be responsible for the design of the 2008 dairy and beef breeding calendars and will assist with press releases and other promotional materials as a member of the sales and marketing team. Specht will be based at the company’s headquarters in Plain City, Ohio. Specht has a strong background in the dairy industry, growing up on Trealayne Holsteins, her family’s registered Holstein operation. As a member of the Ohio 4-H Dairy Judging Team, Specht was second-high individual at the 2003 All-American youth contest. Specht plans to graduate in 2008 with degrees in agricultural communication and English from The Ohio State University, where she is active in Buckeye Dairy Club and Sphinx Senior Honorary. She served as a sale chair for the 2006 Buckeye Classic Sale. Based in Plain City, Ohio, Select Sires Inc., is North America’s largest A.I. organization and is comprised of 10 farmer-owned and -controlled cooperatives.
