Brown Swiss Sire from Indiana Enters A.I. at Select Sires



PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Aug. 7, 2007 — 7BS806 Nor-Bert BARROW ET *TM bred by Jeremy Dankert, Bremen, Ind., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, BARROW semen is available to all Brown Swiss breeders.

BARROW is bred for productivity. He is sired by Triangle Acres Po Payoff ET, a maternal brother to 7BS758 Triangle Acres POLLYDEN ET *TM and 7BS762 Triangle Acres Pol POLO ET *TM. His dam, Top Acres Eagle Bee ET “VG86” Cert., completed her first record with 365d 29,819M 5.2% 1,541F 3.3% 990P, putting her on track to become a fourth-generation 30,000-pound producer. BARROW*TM’s next three dams are Excellent, and his third and fourth dams were both designated Superior Brood Cows.
