Select Sires’ Professional Technicians Gather Advanced Training

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 14, 2007 — For the third year in a row, the most prestigious award given to a bull, the Ted Krueger Premier Sire award, was won by Select Sires’ 7GU360 Trotacre Loral TILLER-ET at the 2007 World Dairy Expo National Guernsey Show, Madison, Wis.

Sniders Tiller Gala, owned by Kendy Beth Gable, New Enterprise, Pa., was the junior champion female after winning the winter yearling heifer class. Topping the Fight Bac Guernsey Gold Futurity class was Four Winds Tiller Desire (VG-89-EX-90-MS), owned by Clark and Joy Vilter, Hartland, Wis. Tri Haven Tiller Pippy (VG-87) was first in the junior 2-year-old class and is owned by James H. Foote Jr., Fort Plain, N.Y. The second-place animal in the Guernsey Kingsmill Farm II International Futurity class was Gurn-Z-Meadow Tlr Jo Lisabeth (EX-90-EX-91-MS), owned by Julie Orchard, Janesville, Wis. Prairie Cream Tiller Abigail-E, owned by Kimberly and Kevin Lakey, Trempealeau, Wis., was reserve senior champion female of the junior show.

In addition, 7GU385 Pine Ridge SUPER LUX-ET daughter, Moziers Lux Anne Of Lavon Farm (VG-89-90-MS), was named reserve grand champion after being named intermediate champion female and winning the senior 3-year-old class. She is owned by Lavon Farms and Gary Estes, Plano, Texas. Bla Arl Prettylady Lewis Pixie, owned by Logan Derickson, Middletown, Del., and sired by 7GU366 Trotacre Enhancer LEWIS-ET, was reserve junior champion and topped the spring yearling heifer class. She was also won junior champion honors at the All-American Dairy Show in Harrisburg, Pa.
