Fancy Girl’s Son Named
Showcase Selections Sire at Select

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 6, 2007 — 7BS810 Mill Wheel SW GRIFFIN ET *TM, bred by Grant Debruin, Johnson Creek, Wis., has been identified as a Super Sampler™ at Select Sires. Because of his elite, show-winning pedigree, GRIFFIN has also been chosen as a Showcase Selections™ sire. With these designations, GRIFFIN semen is now available to all Brown Swiss breeders.

GRIFFIN is a Top Acres E P Premium ET son out of La Rainbow Fancy Girl ET "2E94 CERT". A show-ring favorite, Fancy Girl earned Reserve All-American honors three consecutive years while also making an impact in the milking parlor. She finished her most recent 365-day lactation with over 42,000 pounds of milk, 1600 pounds of fat and 1,300 pounds of protein. GRIFFIN’s three closest dams average "E92" and 32,000 pounds of milk, a powerful testament to the outstanding type and production of his maternal line.

"GRIFFIN is sired by a bull whose popularity, ranking and breeder appreciation have peaked because of high reliability," said Brian Garrison, sire analyst for Select Sires. "His dam’s frame, rib and dairy strength are truly impressive. His granddam also had a tremendous dairy frame and rib and proved to be an excellent transmitter with several outstanding daughters in addition to Fancy Girl."
