ADVENT-RED Son out of Redrose Enters A.I. at Select Sires

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, November 20, 2008 — 7HO9774 Rosedale ACCOLADE-RED-ET, bred by Mark Rueth of Oxford, Wis., has been identified as a Super Sampler™ at Select Sires. Because of his elite, show-winning pedigree, ACCOLADE-RED has also been chosen as a Showcase Selections™ sire. With these designations, ACCOLADE-RED semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

ACCOLADE-RED’s pedigree is laced with tanbark success, high-scoring cows, high records, and most of all, global appeal. His dam, Lavender Ruby Redrose-ET (EX-96-2E), is a household name. She is a two-time grand champion and a supreme champion at World Dairy Expo and the 2007 Holstein International Red and White cow of the year. Redrose has three Excellent daughters, all with records over 31,000 pounds of milk, 1,300 pounds of fat and 1,050 pounds of protein. ACCOLADE-RED is bred to make fancy calves, heifers that will shine in the show ring, and great cows that will get better with age.
