Based on his impressive pedigree, SPEARMINT is one of 335 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2008. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, SPEARMINT semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

SPEARMINT is sired by Picston Shottle-ET and his dam is a to a Very Good (86) Comestar Outside-ET daughter whose will-to-milk resulted in a 31,000-plus pound record as a 2-year-old. His grandam is the prolific brood cow, Wesswood-HC Rudy Missy-ET (EX-92-3E-GMD-DOM). Missy continues to add to her positive transmitting credentials with high-scoring, big-record daughters by a variety of sires.
