Detwiler Named New District
Sales Manager at COBA/Select Sires

COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 3, 2004 — Duane Logan, Director of Marketing-North recently named Paul Detwiler, Marysville, Ohio, as the District Sales Manager of Northern Ohio. Paul had previously been serving COBA/Select Sires, Inc. as the Distribution Supervisor of the Columbus, Ohio facility. Paul will be serving the area previously handled by Dan Schaub, a 36-year veteran of the industry. "Dan Schaub was dedicated and sincere to the Ohio dairymen that he served, as well as the co-op that he worked for," stated Logan.

Prior to his employment at COBA, Paul was the Director of Embryo Marketing for Select Sires from 1995-2002. Before that he was serving Ohio dairy producers with another A.I. cooperative. Paul has extensive A.I. and sales training and will make a valuable part of the sales force. Through the nature of his job with Select, Paul is very familiar with the purebred associations as well as breeders around the state and nation.

Paul and his wife, Shelly, and their two boys, Jake and Luke reside in Marysville. They own and operate an active farm market as well as farm with Shelly’s family in Plain City. He has also been very active in his community serving as a township trustee from 1997 to 2001.
