Select Sire Power Announces Chance to Win Semen at All-American Dairy Show!

Select Sire Power, the east-coast member of the Select Sires family, announces a new "Breeders Choice" award to be presented at the All-American Dairy Show held September 22-27, 2001 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The award allows attendees at the show to vote for their favorite animal at the show sired by a Select Sires sire with a semen code of 7 or 9.

After the votes are counted, the animal garnering the most votes will be recognized as the "Breeders Choice" winner for Select Sires. The owner of the animal will receive special recognition from Select Sire Power.

The winning does not end there however. Everyone who votes in the contest will be entered in a drawing to win 5 units of Select Sires semen. One lucky voter will be selected and they will share in the winning at the All-American. The winner will receive semen from a Select Sires lineup that includes Durham, Encore, Barber, and many other proven show ring winners.

The "Breeders Choice" contest is another step in Select Sires commitment to the dairy industry and the All-American dairy show. Select Sires is the sponsor of the $1000 Holstein Grand Champion award and the Pennsylvania 4-H and FFA Dairy Judging Forum. Also, this year over 60 Select Sire Power service technicians will attend a reproductive management workshop at the show to increase their knowledge of reproductive programs that are getting real results on member farms.

Select Sire Power will have a booth in the exposition hall and will also have a representative available to answer your questions during different hours of the week. Check the booth for details.
